/sites/default/files/comenius_trikala_02_s.jpgIn the fields of the “Comenius: Learning for life not for School” program, approximately 15 students (from Poland, Lithuania, Germany, Denmark, Hungary and Greece) and their teachers, visited the Operational Control Center (O.C.C.) of e-Trikala S.A., on Wednesday 23rd of September.

The aim of their visit was educational and they were invited and hosted by a Greek school (2nd Gymnasium of Megala Kalivia). Their visit was based on their research about business orientation, while in parallel they got informed about the city’s digital applications and projects, by attending a presentation made by G. Gorgogetas (R & D Department, e-Trikala S.A.)

Their tour around the O.C.C. and some of the projects’ live demonstration (eHealth, Intelligent transportation, G.I.S.), triggered their interest and once again they left Trikala with excellent impressions. This is the second time that students participate, in any way, in the city’s technological events. The first time was during Broadband Cities 2008, last October.
