Now you know the exact remaining time (in minutes) the municipal bus arrives at the bus stop. On the information board which is next to you, you may see the remaining time. The remaining time is automatically updated, according to the bus speed and driving towards the bus stop you are at.
For the first time in Greece, the Municipality of Trikala has developed and operates an integrated Intelligent Transportation System. The system includes digital information boards installed at all city’s stations, information boards informing about parking places and spaces, it monitors the Municipal vehicle fleet and it also includes state-of-the-art inductive loops for the study of the city’s traffic data.
Information signs
Placed at the basic city entries, the information signs inform the drivers about the free spaces in every Municipal parking place around the city. The number of free spaces is automatically updated. Manage your time by using the public means of transportation.
